Since the first production of the Volvo Amazon in 1956, the car has been known for its reliability. Although the production already stopped in 1970, still today, more than 15,000 Amazons are driving around in Sweden alone. When in 1964 the one millionth Amazon 120 was delivered, Volvo was the biggest company in Sweden.
Volvo is known for its attention to safety. Several innovations in this regard were introduced by Volvo. Already in 1959, the company developed the three-point seat belts for the front seats and were standard built in the Volvo Amazon and PV544.
Scandcar always has a variety of old-timer Volvos available and is able (thanks to their own production) to still deliver many parts from stock for the Volvo Amazon.
